Compatible

MTOTP uses the authenticator.cc Standard Backup Format for its save files, so you can easily migrate to or from programs like Authenticator, Authenticator.cc, or FreeOTP+ on your phone.

Lighter than a feather.

Click on the key. Copy the code. Simple as that. Adding a new key is no challenge either.

Legal Notes

This program uses the SHA-2 hash algorithm to implement the HOTP and TOTP algorithms, described in RFC 4226 and RFC 6238, to generate codes for authentication purposes. It does not support encrypted files; the secrets are stored in plain text.

MTOTP is Free Software under the GPL, so you can read, learn from, and modify it. Check out the source code repository, where you can report bugs and suggest changes!
